My Grandfathers Birthday

When butterflies sweep
And all evil weeps
And from the sky falls down the rain
So my grandfather can be happy again !!
I looked around and saw an angel perched on a tree.
I counted one to three.
And ran to my uncles house.
Knowing my grandfather is there.
Knowing he's there.
Knowing he's there.

LTTE Vs Sri Lanka - My report

TAMIL TIGERS (LTTE) VS SRI LANKA

As I understand, the issue in Sri Lanka is between the Sri Lankan government and the LTTE. Captain Prabhakaran with his LTTE team is fighting against the Sri Lankan government for a getting their own piece of land.

First, I do not know why Tamil people are in Sri Lanka. Why they are not living peacefully in Tamil Nadu? I cannot criticize Sri Lanka, as they are only defending their country.

My ideas for solving this issue are as follows. LTTE can pay money and buy the land they want. Alternatively, let them play a game, whoever wins, gets the land.

First day at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium Science Camp – 15 April 20, 2009

I love science. Therefore, I jumped at the opportunity to join the science camp at JNP. If you have not heard of it before, please visit http://www.taralaya.org/camps.htm

The camp started sharp at 10:30 AM itself. The first thing the instructor did was to tell her name (Gloria) and asked the others to tell their name too. It was a very friendly setting. Then she taught us about spirals. We made a color spiral with the seven colours of the rainbow. When it is blown, it spins very fast and appear to be white. It was a fascinating experience! We did all types of things like making a twisting airplane and we saw a bottle being twisted by itself with the force of water! Finally it was time to go home and we even got some free juice.

TRIP TO OOTY , QUEEN OF THE HILLS March 27 to March 29

DAY 1-
It was early morning and I woke up at 5:00am. After getting fresh, I started helping Acha and Amma in packing for the trip. After we finished packing, we went to our car and started our journey to Ooty. First, we reached Mysore. We went to a restraunt to eat breakfast (HOTEL VISHNU BHAVAN). After we ate, Amma told that it was not that good. Then we went straight to Ooty. We got down at the top of a hill after the terrible hairpin bends. Finally, we reached hotel MAYURA SUDARSHAN.
We ate lunch and Acha went to sleep for sometime. During that time, Amma, Cyriac and I went out to explore. There was a nice big garden with a play park. We roamed around for hours. Finally, we went back to the hotel. We were freezing because we did not bring any sweaters. It was so cold even though it was summer! After taking a shower, we all went to sleep waiting for the next day.
P.S: We went on a train (Ooty Mountain Railway). It was beautiful; we saw hills and tea gardens. We got down at Coonor. Cyriac got a free toy swinger with the sweet Center Fresh.

DAY 2- I woke up early morning after the cold night. I brushed my teeth and went to ask a man for four cups of tea. After some time we had breakfast and we went to find a taxi to show us around. We found a mallu and climbed into his car. It was an Ambassador car. First, he took us to the Chief Minister’s Summer Residence. We also went to a place where they were shooting a movie.I understood that the actors are to work very hard for shooting a movie.Later, we went to a TEA FACTORY where we saw how tea is made. Then we had lunch at the restraunt THE PLANTERS PARADISE. It was very good! After that we took a 2-hour break and then went to the BOTANICAL GARDENS and spent the evening there.. It was very beautiful. While coming back Acha bought a flying helicopter toy for each of us. At 6:30pm we went to Ooty lake and had some fun. Then we watched a movie on a taxi -driver ( 4777). After that, we went to eat dinner in a restaurant called GARDEN CAFÉ. It was nice and Amma liked it. Then we went back to the hotel.
P. S-The taxi also took us to Pykra boathouse. We went on a coffee boat.

DAY 3 - It was early morning when I had a dream about a fighting an ogre. But I accidently hit Acha instead. Acha got hurt and made us all get up to get ready for going out. We ate breakfast at Garden Cafe early in the morning and then went to the hotel to pack. After that we went straight to GUNDLAPUR and then to MANDIA. At Mysore we ate lunch and then got to Bangalore and had a long rest.
